“Wild”

I’m creating a series of these drawings on book paper, with nature and animal scenes depicted on pages from the book “Wild” by Cheryl Strayed. Don’t worry, I have two copies, one for this project and one to keep to read again. I was inspired by Cheryl ripping up and burning books along her journey to keep the weight off as she backpacked the Pacific Crest Trail. I enjoy backpacking myself and am deeply enchanted by nature. You can commission a piece from this series as there are 315 pages to use! And I highly recommend reading the book, and seeing the movie afterwards!

My house is very spooky

I like to create dark and mysterious art for decoration, because I’m gothic and witchy. This was one of my favorite film photography pieces I did.

I created my own holiday cards with my family and took our photos in front of my house. I took my brother’s senior photos. I herded my dogs and created my own pet portrait. I have photographed live music and theatre events. I could do the same for you, holiday cards, goofy family photos, spooky nature photoshoots, pet portraits, headshots, boudoir and NSFW shoots, etc. My photography and the process is fun and personal AND affordable!

These are books that I had planned on turning into children’s picture books. They’d be so personalized as originals and not published prints, that I think they’d be best used as gifts! Just to throw out ideas, I could also make them into coloring books, a couple’s story book, a commemorative book for a loved one, an educational book for your child, or really anything you can think of. I made one book into a picture book prop for a theater show I did in 2020! They’re really versatile!
